Move domains to another workspace

Move domains to another workspace in your team. Each domain moves together with its mailboxes and DNS records.

Choosing the domains

Send uids, domains, or both, with up to 50 entries in uids and domains combined.

A domain sent both ways counts once.

Domain names are not case sensitive.

How it works

Nothing moves unless everything can. If any domain you send cannot move right now, nothing is moved, and the response gives the reason for each domain. Use Preview a domain move first if you want to check.

Safe to retry. A domain that is already in the target workspace counts as done. If a request times out, send it again.

Status. When the call returns, the domains and mailboxes are already in the new workspace. A few related settings finish moving shortly after. Use Get domain move status with the move_id to confirm the move is complete.

Sequencers. Mailboxes stay connected to their sequencers. If the target workspace does not have the same sequencer connection yet, a copy of it is added there. Preview a domain move shows which connections are reused and which are copied.

Rate limit. Up to 10 move requests per minute per team.

Provide your bearer token in the

Authorization

header when making requests to protected resources.
